PBS was founded by its current CEO. In 1997 Advantage Consulting Services was
opened, in part, to service the needs business owners in the surrounding
community with expert consultation in business ventures, mergers and
acquisitions. As the business grew, and the needs of small to medium-sized
business owners became even more apparent, PBS was founded to serve these needs.
Located in beautiful Melbourne, Florida, PBS now serves the needs of clients
buying or selling businesses, while helping them avoid the pitfalls that our
principals have witnessed and even personally experienced through their many
years as entrepreneurs and business owners.
PBS offers a niche service by meeting the needs of business Sellers and Buyers.
We provide clients with a professional education concerning their business and

PBS is not a business broker, and does not receive sales commission on the sale
of a business. Rather, PBS collects a flat fee for its services in assisting
business owners in achieving their business objectives of selling the business
or obtaining expansion capital . While the fees vary, depending on the services
and documentation necessary, they normally work out to be far less than the
8%-12% charges by traditional business brokers.
