the thought of selling, or the acts involved in the process, not be disclosed, to
insure that the business maintains its full operating potential. If word gets around,
employee morale and productivity could suffer, Customers could switch to competitors,
and Competitors could try to steal your Key personnel. Suppliers and Bankers could
tighten up on lines of credit. The best policy is to keep it to yourself. The first
time employees, customers, or clients should find out that your business has sold
is after the deal is finished and you are introducing them to the new owner.
At PBS our staff is trained to maintain the highest degree of confidentiality
and will only be in contact with the persons you specify at the start of the working
relationship. The only people who will know your business is for sale are potential
buyers who are interested in the type, location and price range of your business.
