How do I qualify to meet your buyers?

STEP # 1 Analysis

An onsite analysis of your business is performed to help determine its range of value. This initial analysis is based on your financial statements, assets, and liabilities. The owner always sets and controls the selling price. All conversations are completely confidential. This analysis is done at no cost to you.

STEP # 2 Valuation

During the initial appointment, the Analyst will determine if your business requires a professional valuation to support your desired sale price. We hire independent third parties to perform specific parts of your documentation and to give you written opinions as to the value to your business.. Similar to having a house appraised before buying it, buyers normally want to see the documented value of a business through the eyes of an independent firm. And, having a business valuation is quite often very helpful in securing and facilitating the financing to consummate a business sale.

STEP # 3 Portfolio

A portfolio of your business is written and assembled by PBS. The portfolio provides blind information and pictures describing your business and location. We  send out a complete portfolio on your business - not only to the buyers in our existing database, but also to the new ones we find as we continue our search for prospective buyers for your business.

STEP # 4 Marketing

PBS successfully utilizes an established network of buyers, several web-based channels and appropriate industry mediums to market businesses for sale. Reaching a sufficient number of prospective buyers is normally necessary to receive the best possible price for your business.

STEP # 5 Matching

When responses come in from prospective buyers, we require them to sign a confidentiality agreement. And, we require them to acknowledge to us that they have the funds available to purchase or invest in the businesses about which they are requesting information.
