Since its inception in 1977, this business has been offering superior plumbing and drain and sewer cleaning services to its loyal client base. This plumbing business performs maintenance work, drain and sewer cleaning, electronic traces, hydro flushing, water heater repair and replacement, rooter service and video inspection for commercial and residential accounts. This business is known for its dedication to doing the job right the first time. This business has often corrected the mistakes left behind by less experienced plumbing services. This business can easily be expanded by increasing hours of operation, hiring additional staff, and by offering more services. The owner’s lifestyle has allowed him to work the business by being closed weekends for years and double rates between 12:00 am and 7:00 am. Weekend overhead has already been paid for but not used. Business income could easily increase, possibly double, by working weekends and by not doubling rates during late hours. Also, by accepting sewer and water line replacement jobs, with the addition of 2-3 employees to handle these large jobs, income could increase. Adding leak detection calls would add more income and this is a high priced service that is not currently being done. The owner did not want to add employees and has not had the time to handle additional work as it interfered with his personal lifestyle.
